My yard is full of really colorful leaves.

I hope everyone had a great and safe Thanksgiving.  And that you survived the crowds if you dared to go out on Friday.

Before I forget here are a couple links I wanted to share.  The first one is sort of odd (to me any ways) it was sent in a fwd, fwd....mail. I have no idea if the thing is real or not:

Global Incident Map Displaying Terrorist Acts, Suspicious Activity, and General Terrorism News

And something more fun:

Citizen of the Month » Get Ready for “The First Annual Blogger Holiday Online Arts and Crafts Fair”

I don't know the above person.  I read his blog from time to time.  Seems like he has a great idea and some of you might want to participate.

I went to the Wally-Mart with dad today.  He wanted some groceries from there.  I am surprised they weren't busier than they were.  Right at the register they had some DVD's on sale for $2.96!  How could a person resist?  LOL  I'm about broke but that wasn't going to stop me!  I bought 6 DVD's for a total of less than $19.00!  WOO HOO  Glad I had a $20 stuck back in my wallet!

I have been trying to watch a video on YouTube and the stupid thing isn't working right.  I am getting ill!  Errrrr

I have tried a new game on AOL.  Well new for me I don't know how long they have had it.  It's called:  Mystery Case Files: Ravenhearst.  Here's a link:  Play Mystery Case Files - Ravenhearst on AOL Games  This is one I wouldn't mind actually buying.

Not much else to say.  Sorry.

Take care.  Steven King's The Stand is on the Sci Fi channel all afternoon.  If you haven't seen it it is really good.

It's almost turkey day!

I have no idea what I am going to do an entry on.  I thought if I sat down and started typing something would come......

Here are 2 sites you need to check out.  Bookmark them and go to them from time to time:

National Center for Missing & Exploited Children some of these missing children are way into adult hood now (if they are still alive)

National Center for Missing Adults (NCMA)  also check out the links on the left of their page marked "profiles"

It amazes me how many children and adults that go missing each year.  And it is even sadder when the police have a dead body and they have no clue as to who it is and no one comes forward to say they knew the person.

Well this post certainly has gone all gloom and doomy.  I have been watching too many police shows lately I guess.

Any ways check the sites every so often maybe you will recognize someone.  Wouldn't that be the coolest?

So Thanksgiving is almost here.  Where has this year gone?  I know that time supposedly goes by faster the older you get, but this is crazy.  First off I'm not that old for time to just be flying by, and secondly time is flying by and I am just sitting still.  It shouldn't be this way.  But what do I know?

Christmas is almost here. The older I get the more I hate the holidays.  Maybe it's because I am single.  Maybe it's this or that who really cares?  I usually buy myself a Christmas present (or two) and even wrap it so I won't use it until Christmas.  I haven't done that in the past 2 years or so.  It's a little tradition that I have slowly let slip away.

Ok enough of all this downer talk.  Here is a cute, funny video for you to check out.  A little adult language (I think, I can't remember) YouTube - Charlie the Unicorn  Watch the video all the way to the end.  The end will surprise you!  LOL

And to Pamela (his1desire) I wonder is that you my cat Sophie has been talking to?  I still think about you and miss you.  I was so hoping your daughter would take over your journal but I guess it is just too hard for her.  Rest in peace friend.

A North Carolina man is missing.  I have seen this on local and national news.  I believe this to be true.

His name is Kyle Fleischmann and was last seen in Uptown Charlotte, NC.  Please check out the website his friends and family have put up and pass the word.

MISSING - Kyle Fleischmann

PS Kyle's site also sends you to another missing person site:  http://www.justingaines.com/

Links! Don't ya just love them?

I have a habit of keeping a notebook by my side while watching tv so I can jot down web sites, or a number of other stuff.  I keep a small notebook in my purse so when I am out (like at the doctor's office) I can jot down stuff without trying to rip apart magazines in waiting rooms.  Buy the time I look up most of the links I have totally forgotten what they were for.

Anyway here is a small ton of links for you to check out.  I haven't done much reasearch on them so beware.  I caution you about having little eyes looking over your shoulder (I would never intentionally send you to a sex site or any with mostly bad language.

I have NOT ordered from any of these sites so if you do do so at your own risk.

Married Dating : Affairs : Married Women : Extramarital Affair - The Ashley Madison Agency - Romantic Rendezvous for Attached..   This I normally wouldn't share but when I hear of it I was blown away that there is such a site!

My Hero's.......

*I couldn't find the type of graphic I really wanted so I decided on this one.  Please don't think of this as making fun of our miltary.  It isn't meant to be that way.  My hero's are our military personel -- past and present.  No matter what age, sex, or race.

   My hero wears combat boots!

To vets everywhere:

Thank you so much for all you do for our country!  God Bless!!!

Do You Believe In......

Do you believe in .........

Ghosts?  Spirits?  Angels?  Demons?  Aliens from another planet?  Any type of  "energy" that is "out there" that is some kind of life form?

Why do I ask?  Lots of reasons I guess.  But my brain is thinking about all these things because of my kitty Sophie.

Have you ever watched an animal stare into the air and you can't see a thing?  You just know they can see something you can't.

Sophie has been doing that a lot lately.  But what is starting to creep me out is now she is talking to that invisible thing in the air!  Yeah, she is looking at something I can't see and meowing at it.

Could she be seeing one of relatives that has past?  Can she see my guardian angel (and yes, for the record I do believe we all have guardian angels)?

What do you think she sees and is talking to?

To answer my own question:

Do you believe in .........Ghosts?  Spirits?  Angels?  Demons?  Aliens from another planet?  Any type of  "energy" that is "out there" that is some kind of life form?

Ghosts? Nope  Spirits? Yes to a degree  Angels? Yes  Demons?  Yes  Aliens? not so sure how I feel about that  "Other life forms"?  Well I believe in God so that is a type of life form I guess you can say.  And I believe that there is so much that man hasn't figured out -- and may never understand -- so there could be something else out there, don't know what it could be, but I am open to the possiblity.
